This is the Solar Plexus, which plays a vital role within our body, and is always part of any treatment plan I formulate with my clients☀️
The Solar Plexus is a network of autonomic nerves that is located in the abdomen and innervates the digestive organs (Hull, 2022). It plays a role in the functioning of the autonomic nervous system, which is the control center of our body.
This picture shows the location of the Solar Plexus on the feet, which is also in a similar location on the hands. When pressure is placed on this area (reflex), it can help calm the nervous system down and have significant benefits for stress, tension, and emotional balance 👣
When I am working the Solar Plexus with my clients, I often imagine the colour yellow, and sometimes encourage them to do this as well. This is because yellow is the colour linked with the Solar Plexus Chakra (in the photo).
